
Course Description:
This course provides students with a foundational understanding of masonry techniques, materials, and tools. Topics include brick and block laying, mortar mixing, blueprint reading, wall construction, and safety protocols. Emphasis is placed on both the theoretical and practical aspects of the trade, preparing students for entry-level employment in the construction industry. Students will complete hands-on projects to develop proficiency in laying bricks, blocks, and stone, and in constructing basic structures.
